By Bus, Bike, & Light Rail
Getting to Downtown Pittsburgh is easy via public transit. Plan your trip using the Port Authority’s Trip Planner, or utilize the POGOH bike share and the bike lane network to bike into town.
Once you’re Downtown, the Light Rail free fare zone can get you from Downtown to the North Shore quickly and for free.
By Car
If you are driving, park towards the edges of Downtown to make arriving and exiting easier on your group without getting stuck in traffic. Check ParkPGH.org for real-time parking garage availability, and rest assured that Downtown is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city.
Recommended parking locations include the Grant Street Transportation Center and the Market Square Garage, as well as options on the North Shore which include free light rail rides into Downtown.

ADA Access: Light Up Night is primarily an outdoor event. The stage areas are paved and navigable for those with mobility needs. We encourage patrons who require mobility assistance to utilize personal forms of transportation, such as wheelchairs and scooters. We do not provide wheelchair / scooter services or rentals.
ADA Viewing Areas: There will be designated ADA-accessible viewing areas at both the Highmark and Xfinity Riverside Stages on Light Up Night. These areas will be demarcated with signage and closed off from the general viewing area.
Access Vehicle Drop Off Locations: Suggested location for Access Vehicle pick up and drop off on Light Up Night is on Stanwix Street at the bus boarding platforms between Forbes Ave. and Fourth Ave. Note this location is not meant to be used as a rideshare pick-up or drop-off location.
Restrooms: Every restroom area within the event footprint is equipped with ADA-compliant bathrooms to accommodate all guests.
Guide Dogs: Guide dogs and service animals are welcome throughout the event and in Market Square. Please ensure your service animal is easily identifiable.
Parking: Accessible parking is available at all nearby garages, providing convenient access to the event area.
